Tom Franco and Betsy Franco at the opening of "Works in Nature Exhibit" at Cal Shakes 2012

"The eighth annual incarnation of our popular Works in Nature sculpture installation is the largest ever offered at Cal Shakes, featuring the works of a record 12 individual artists, all working in ceramics. This year’s exhibit was curated especially for Cal Shakes by Oakland-based artist John Toki, Cal Shakes Board Member Sharon Simpson, and Mission Clay’s Bryan Vansell."

A very special "Thank You" to John Toki for the invitation!

Opening day, a sunny Sunday on June 24, had artists, guests, patrons and directors doing an art walk in nature in this magnificent location. More about California Shakespeare Theater here.
